Notes |
This house is on an elevated grade, about 5 feet above the level of the street. The road appears to be unpaved, and there does not appear to be a sidewalk, so this might place it in one of the communities surrounding Springfield instead of the city itself. Much of detail of the front of the house is obscured by the tree, but it appears as though the 2nd floor left design feature is a turret. Also, the porch foundation appears to be made of stone. The turret seems like a two-story version, which was more common in Holyoke. |
