This card is marked on the front as being from Holyoke in what appears to be period writing. There is a plaque on the left-hand side of the porch with the #42 on it, however no house currently standing in Holyoke numbered 42 is a match for this. The closest is #42 Hitchcock, but although close, I do not believe it is a match due to the massing differences between the houses. However, there are a number of similar houses in that neighborhood.
