The house in question is likely in an older neighborhood because of the fence in the front yard - this was not common in the later 1800s and beyond. The card is signed by Mrs. Bullis. Samuel Bullis was listed in the 1906 city directory as living at 219 Walnut Street. Visual check against Springfield's WPA photo collection matches the house to this card.
