This is a Victorian Style house with an octagonal turret topping a square base. The style was fairly common in Springfield, making identification difficult. However, the house is nearly identical to a house at #75 College St. College St. was renumbered between 1910 and 1920, the same house was numbered 15-17 College St. in the 1910 atlas.
The positioning of this house next to an open lot would be consistent with #75 college street prior to 1920.
